This penguin themed resource includes materials to play three small group games (penguin collection game, memory match, and go fish) for learning the Make 10 addition facts. There are collection mats, empty ten frame mats, penguin counters, math talk cards, ten frame cards (0-10), number cards (0-10), and optional card backs in both color and black/ gray/ white formats. The games may be played with ten frame cards, number cards, or a combination of both. There are three different recording sheets, one with ten frames and equations, one for equations, and one for tallying equations. These games can be played after you have introduced the Make 10 addition fact strategy for either further development of the concept or to help acquire fluency with the facts.
