This resource is a fun way for students in the primary grades (K-3) to practice their addition facts to 20, mental math strategies, and problem solving. These are the skills included:

*Number Bonds (part-part-whole)
*Doubles and Doubles Plus One Strategies
*Repeated Addition
*Algebraic Thinking
*Number Line Representation
*Finding the Missing Addend
*Story Problems

This file contains 38 quarter-page task cards, a cover card, and a blank card on which you may write a problem of your own. Print on cardstock, laminate, hole punch and store on a ring!

There are so many ways to use task cards to teach, reteach, and enrich instruction in the classroom. Here are a few ideas:
□ Plickers!!! A free technology resource
□ Game cards for board games
□ Cooperative learning structures like Quiz, Quiz, Trade and Mix, Pair, Share
□ Seat work for early finishers
□ Math Journal entries--students answer and explain their thinking
□ Whole class games like Jeopardy and Scoot
□ Bell work as students arrive in the morning

And many more ways!
