Addition
Your class is going to love practicing Addition strategies with this Interactive math game! This game is made in Powerpoint and will work on your Smartboard, desktop, or Promethian boards. The skills covered in this game correlate with the beginning chapter of many second grade math series and is a perfect review at the end of the unit on addition strategies.
To play this game you can assign your children into up to 4 groups or have children solve answers independently on paper or a whiteboard. Play begins when an apple is picked from the apple tree. The children will then solve the math problem that appears. Children can check their answer by clicking on the apple basket on every page. There are 20 problems in all. A scoreboard is provided if you want to keep score.

2.OA.2
Skills covered are:
- Sums to 18
- Vocabulary terms: addends, sum, Commutative Property
- Fact Families
- Near Doubles/Doubles Plus One
- Number Bonds
- Column Addition
- Missing Addends
