Description
In this version of paddocks, students earn the number of points inside the paddock they close, allowing them to work on their addition as well as strategy skills as they play. To play the traditional game of paddocks, a grid of dots is the play field. Players take turns to connect any 2 dots by drawing either a vertical or horizontal line between them. Whoever draws the line that completes any square with their turn marks it as theirs (either with their initials or shading it a certain colour), then has a free turn. Whoever has the most claimed paddocks at the end of the game is the winner.
In this version, each paddock is worth the amount inside the box created. There are 3 levels, with values 1 - 10, 1 - 20 and 100 - 999.
