Description
Here's a cool idea: give kids a set of numbers 1 - 10 and have them place them in columns so they add up to a number at the bottom of the tower. Great for practicing addition fact combinations, as well as developing problem solving skills. This is a basic set of 10 puzzles that is appropriate for K - 2nd graders.
Great for math stations! Not so good for "scoot," because different kids will need different amounts of time to solve.
Includes solutions AND a "do it yourself" template so you & your kids can make lots more!
Includes 1 - 10 number cards that will fit into the boxes.

Great resource!
These are so quick to put out and explain to students. Although they use basic addition, they require critical thinking to solve. This makes it great enrichment for all of my groups - it gets my highest students thinking and even my lower students can be successful because they understand the concept.
If it says "Samizdatmath", you can be sure it is something you want to use in your classroom. Students must use critical thinking to solve these puzzles and with the "Do it yourself" puzzle, they can make their own for classmates to solve. School starts next week and this will be the first game I introduce. Thank you for another great product.
