Engage your 3rd grade math students by using this turtle digital 2-player racing game to practice Addition of 2 and 3 digit numbers within 1,000 (3.NBT.A.2). Two students can race to together to finish the game by filling in sum of each problem onto the spreadsheet. It is self-correcting and the box will turn green if the answer is correct and pink if the answer is wrong.
This activity is perfect for 2nd as enrichment, on-grade level 3rd grade students and support for 4th graders who reteaching practice. Use this as centers, homework or in your sub plans.
