Description

I love using task cards in my classroom. They are a nice break from traditional school work. They learn so much more than what's on each card. They learn how to cooperate with others and gain valuable social skills.

This set of 48 task cards is aligned to CCSS 3.NBT.2. There are 16 addition word problems(with missing variables), 16 addition expressions(with missing variables), and 16 numbers represented by base ten blocks. Students locate one card of each type that share the same answer.

The cards can also be used as regular task cards too. There are a few ideas on how to use them in games as well. A scoot response form and answer key are included.

Although these cards were designed for 3rd grade, they would make a great review at the beginning of 4th grade.

I included the option to print the answers on the back of each task card . Response forms and an answer key are included.

For those concerned about printing in color, there is a black and white version included.
