Are you looking for a fun, engaging, low-prep, summer-themed activity for your math centers or learning station rotations? This Summer Fun Crack the Code Addition Task Card Set will get your students excited about summer activities while practicing addition with 3 addends (addends consist of numbers 1-12).

  • 20 Crack the Code Summer Addition Task Cards
  • Code Key for students to reference while completing the Task Cards
  • Student Recording Sheet and Answer Key

Low-Prep Set-Up :

  • Print, cut, and laminate the 20 Crack the Code Task Cards and Code Key.
  • Place these items, along with copies of the student recording sheet, in your math center or learning station area.

Instructions for Use:

Each of the 20 fun, colorful task cards consists of 3 symbols. Students will use the code key to determine how much each symbol is worth and add the 3 numbers together on the recording sheet to find the sums. You might have students work with a partner and check each other’s work with the answer key included in the resource.
