Scaffolded task cards to break down each part of solving addition word problems using numbers 1-5. There are 8 task cards for each level - the same problems so that students are able to apply the skills they learn in each level to the following cards.

Level 1: Count the total & write the answer.

Level 2: Trace to represent the numbers, count the total, & write the equation.

Level 3: Represent the numbers, count the total, & write the equation.
