30 Addition Tests (2 quizzes per skill) + 1 Editable Template to make your own with an EMBEDDED font! Individual skill and review tests included. No prep and ready to go!

You will also get a link to access your 13 sets of Boom Cards to go with each skill. There are 20 cards in each set. These boom cards can be used by signing up for a boom account and then using them on an iPad or iPhone. The math fact quizzes go along with each skill as well.

How I Use:

Work on one math fact skill each week. There are two quizzes for each week. Instead of letting the students know they are being timed, have them get a pencil and a colored pencil. At whatever time you set that you want them to finish in, call out switch and then have them switch to the colored pencil. This allows them to finish, but also allows you to see where they are finishing at the designated time allotment. I start out by having them switch at the two minute mark, but you can decide on the time depending on the age of your students.

Student Materials Needed:

  1. pencil
  2. one colored pencil

Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
