** Includes 101 task cards for each box- thats 404 cards total! **

This product includes four different task boxes to match the Common Core State Standards for second grade: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.OA.B.2: Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By the end of Grade 2, students should know from memory all sums of two one digit numbers:
-Addition Math Facts up to 20 Level 1
-Addition Math Facts up to 20 Level 2
-Subtraction Math Facts up to 20 Level 1
-Subtraction Math Facts up to 20 Level 2

Level 1 Task boxes have a visual aide to help students match the correct answer to the correct card. Level 2 boxes simply have students find the sum/difference independently.

This product can be used to:
-Occupy early finishers
-Challenge your [younger] gifted students
-Review and practice in the beginning of third grade
-Provide extra practice for struggling students
-Include special education students/students with severe disabilities in general education curriculum/activities
-Special Education adapted assessments (Level 1 boxes)
-Task box/independent work time to foster independence

...and so much more!

Special features of this task box:
-101 cards per box: only use the ones you need or use them all! Multiple students can work on the same skill at the same time with so many cards. Includes almost all math facts up to 20 (excludes identity property after 10).
-Blank cards are included for both levels and both operations so that you can create your own cards if needed
-Students can use the matching cards w/ velcro or write in the answers to practice number formation

This resources has so many task cards. I was able to print it once and then make it into different task boxes for different students.

I love the daisy patterns! I am a bit confused as to where to put the velcro on the Level 1 activity set? I think the idea is to just match the card so the student is putting the number on top of the matching number. Is that correct? If so, where do you suggest I put the velcro?

Yup, the student will just be putting the number on top and matching! I recommend using small velcro circles on top of the daisy picture. Thanks for your feedback! :)
