This activity makes a great center or workstation to practice basic 1-2 digit addition and subtraction problem solving! Using the cards, students solve various story problems.

Just print the problem solving cards, answer record sheet or cards, and answer key on white, heavy cardstock and then laminate them for durability and continual use. You can either use the recording sheet if you want your students to write their answers down and turn them in OR you can use the answer cards if you prefer to use as a matching game. Cut out the cards and place all of the activity materials in a labeled plastic baggy or envelope of storage. Demonstrate the activity and then place in center/workstation for additional practice.
