A great free resource
This is something I use to supplement our addition and subtraction unit when we look at addition and subtraction with and without compensation.
pre teach
I used this to preteach the concept of compensation before following the text book.
This was helpful for additional homework practice.
There are two typos in the example section that I had a parent complain about when I used this sheet for homework. The problem reads 63+27 but then solves 63+28.
