Description

Looking for a lesson to teach composing and decomposing angles. This file includes: a PowerPoint Lesson to share with your students graphic organizer for students to follow along, highlight, and solve problems during instruction, and 6 student printables to practice the skill. (GRAPHIC ORGANIZER WILL REQUIRE: Highlighters, crayons, or a colored pencil will be needed to have the students highlight angles in question on their notes pages {2 pages of notes}.)

The PowerPoint is NOT EDITABLE, but includes 18 colorful slides. The lesson includes: Lesson Objective on EVERY SLIDE, Preview of the Lesson, Guided Instruction, Independent Practice, Problem Solving, Closure, and Reflection.

This PowerPoint will introduce students to:
• how to compose angles with two different measurements
• how to decompose angles
• how to find a measure of angle that is made up of two different angles
• how to find a measure of an angle when given the measurement of the whole angle.
(Does not include reflex angles)

This PowerPoint lesson can be used for:
• whole group instruction
• small group instruction
• re-teaching
• review
• subplans- NO PREP

• 2 printables to practice decomposing angles
