This Power Point gives step by step instructions on identifying and solving additive and multiplicative comparison problems. The first two slides give two word problems. Students are to identify the key words and with a mouse click, the key words are highlighted. With each click of the mouse, the problem is worked out. Slides 4-9 give a single word problem in which students identify the key words and solve. In addition to the slide show, an activity is provided so that students may practice writing and solving additive and multiplicative word problems. This Power Point is done in happy sans font.
