Adjectives - Task Cards for practicing Common Core grammar standards in both print and Easel versions. Included in this set of 30 cards are these topics:
- Common and Proper Adjectives
- Comparative and Superlative Adjectives
- Order of Adjectives
- Using Commas with Adjectives
- Predicate Adjectives
- Writing with Adjectives
The cards have a variety of activities including:
- Choose the correct answer
- Fill in the blanks
- Sort and order
- Correct or incorrect?
- Multiple choice
- Expand the sentence
- Replace the word
- Write and revise
- Define the terms
These task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids. The printable cards are large, two cards per page, and have plenty of content – perfect for older kids who can handle more than one quick question per card. Task cards are great for differentiating with individual or group work and for review activities, class games like Scoot or Footloose, and quick assessments.
Included with the task cards are blank answer sheets for students' use, a list of suggestions for ways to use task cards, and a list of suggestions for easy differentiation with task cards.
The Easel Version, with one card per slide, is ready to assign with answer boxes and directions already in place for student use. The answer key has been removed from the Easel version as well.
These Adjectives Task Cards support Common Core Standards for Language by addressing specific grammar situations outlined in the standards, including ordering adjectives, using commas with adjectives, using relative adjectives, and using adjectives to add detail to students' writing.
