When teaching decimal operations, we talk a lot about money. In this project students will think about their future selves. They will select a career, find an average annual salary and then use this information to create a budget. In doing so they will practice adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing with decimals.

This is awesome for an end of unit project! I love that students (especially those with disabilities) can choose options and then do the addition/subtraction. No two students would be the same.
