Use this mat to boost a students Number Sense, understanding of Place Value, Quantity Discrimination as measured by the Acadience Advanced Quantity Discrimination [AQD] Assessment.

This tool build automaticity and supports the Concrete-Representational-Abstract [CRA] Model by having students:

1. roll dice for each place value and subitize the quantity

2. build the number with Base Ten Blocks [concrete]

3. write the number in numerals [abstract]

4. discern "which is more"
