This interactive, engaging PowerPoint was created to make learning about adverbs fun and engaging for students.

Includes a huge range of adverbs and details how to use them correctly in a sentence to add more detail to a verb.

Learning intentions and success criteria are clearly stated at the beginning of the PowerPoint. This is revisited at the lesson's conclusion to ensure learning has occurred, which is a great formative assessment tool.

In this lesson, adverbs are introduced early on and explained in simple terms. Examples of different adverbs are also given. This is followed by multiple learning opportunities for students in a variety of question formats. These could be completed as a class or individually, with students writing the answers in their books.
