This resource provides fun and exciting math centers for learners to practice addition facts to 10. This packet has 5 sets of addition equation cards. Each set has 10 cards and 2 recording pages. The cards and recording pages have matching Alaska themed graphics. The graphics include musher kids on sleds, sled dogs, sled dog teams, and the starting line.

REVISION NOTE!

There is an additional set of landscape format recording pages included in this download. The writing spaces are wider with updated fonts. These pages are in a separate file (in the zip file folder) called Revised Recording Pages. The recording pages shown in the preview are the revised recording pages.

Print, laminate, and cut out the equation cards. Make copies of the recording pages.

Hang the cards in places all around the room. Give each student a clipboard, pencil, and recording page. Learners search the room for cards with equations. When they find a card, they write the equation and sum in the correct space on the recording sheet.

These activities help learners develop addition fluency and support the Math Common Core Standards for Operations and Algebraic Thinking.
