The teacher projects the handout and completes the notes while teaching the lesson. Students follow along and complete their own handouts. Assignment questions are in the text, or you can create your own.
I use a Smart Board, but projecting on a white board works just fine. Bell rings? No problem, simply pick up where you left off last time.
Essential Concepts for this Evaluation:
- Use a model to multiply integers.
- Use patterns to develop rules for multiplying integers.
- Use a model to divide integers.
- Use patterns to develop rules for dividing integers.
- Apply the order of operations with integers.
