Description
At the end of each semester, I like to give my students a thorough review for the final exam. This was the final exam review study guide for my first-semester Algebra 1 class during the Spring 2010 semester. The topics are arranged alphabetically, but my students can search it electronically for practice problems on whatever topic they need.
As a teacher, you may want to use this as a resource for creating your own review materials for your students.
I did not require my students to do all of the problems in this review packet, as it's intended to help them study, and offering extra credit seems to warp their priorities (For instance, they'll focus only on the easy problems, yet they should be spending their time on the more challenging problems). I encouraged them to work on the problems on which they knew they needed the most help.
Please download the pdf preview file first, so you can see exactly what's included; the product file is a word document, which you may personalize for your students.
For instance, you may want to change my name, “Mr. Jonnard,” to that of a teacher more familiar to your students.
