This Google Drive folder contains 3 items:

1. PDF Lesson Slides on Chapter 3 Lesson 13 - World Problems in Standard Form: PDF files are versatile and useful because they look as intended as they retain the images and fonts. You can easily share PDF slides to Google Classroom, project them on your whiteboard, or easily upload them to Powerpoint (or Powerpoint and then Google Slides). Please note that the lesson slides PDF file is not editable (although you'll be able to add and delete slides in Powerpoint or Google Slides if you upload them there).

These lesson slides (8 slides total) build connections between the context of a word problem, the equation in standard form, the graph, and the meaning of ordered pairs as solutions. The first two examples provide the equation with context to be graphed and questions answered related to the meaning of the intercepts used to graph them. The last two examples require modeling the word problem situation with an equation in standard form before answering questions about it using substitution.

2. Google Form Practice Quiz on Word Problems in Standard Form: This Google Form can be used as independent practice, a check for understanding, or an exit ticket after our lesson on Word Problems in Standard Form. It contains 3 multiple choice questions that are aligned with the lesson slides.

The correct answers are indicated on the Google Form so it's ready to auto grade responses for you and give your learners immediate feedback!

When you add it to your Google Drive, it will create a copy that you can use as is, or edit to align to the unique needs of your learners.

3. Answer Key to Lesson Slides & Google Form Practice Quiz: Contains thumbnail images of each slide with the answers worked out in detail, followed by thumbnails of each practice quiz question with the correct answer indicated and shown step by step.
