Description

This five problem assessment helps you to quickly determine students' understanding of solving systems by graphing. Students will be presented with a system of linear equations in either slope-intercept or standard form.

They will graph on their own (using graph paper or using their own technology, as you have instructed) and then select the correct solution to the system. These problems include parallel lines (no solution).

This formative assessment has been configured for students to upload their work (either screenshots or pictures of written work) to be graded with this assessment. You can easily disable this if you choose.

All of the problems are already set up to be graded for you!

This Google Form is great for use as a ticket out the door (exit ticket), a formative assessment, a homework check, a shorter homework assignment, or a warm up.

I've customized its settings based on the most commonly used ones by my collaborative teachers and myself.

Since this is a Google Form, though, the great thing is that it can be further customized to fit your classroom needs!

Some of the options available to you to customize the assignment include:

  • Scrambling the order of the problems✔ and/or the answer choices ✔
  • Changing the format from multiple choice/matching to constructed responses
  • Adding, editing, or deleting problems and answers
  • Requiring students to sign in✔ or not
  • Allowing students to see their grade immediately or when you choose ✔
  • Changing the assigned point values
  • And many more options built into Google Forms' functionality

* ✔ → already done

I welcome your feedback and would love to know how this Google Form has helped you and your students as well as what improvements you'd like to see!
