This Task Card activity for reinforcing the concepts of operations on Complex Numbers will give your students the practice to fully comprehend this topic.
There are 26 cards with problems for students to practice
- simplifying
- adding
- subtracting
- multiplying
- dividing (rationalizing) complex numbers
- raising powers of i
- substituting a complex expression into an algebraic expression.
The cards are numbered in order of difficulty so that you can easily differentiate the cards within groups in your class.
Included:
- Two sets of 26 Task cards, one with QR codes and one without. Students do not need to be on the internet to use the QR codes but do need a device with a QR reader app installed. There are also 2 blank cards for you to customize.
- Same questions in Worksheet format
- Answer key
- Challenge set of questions to use as Homework.
- Student response sheet
