Bring creativity into your Algebra classroom with this engaging Polynomials Unit Concept Assessment! Students will work together to solve a problem in the context of shipping a box at the post office.

This math assessment is perfect for Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus students. The project is designed with two components:

  • Partner/Collaboration: Students will collaborate to understand the problem, create equations and a graph, and start to interpret the context.
  • Individual Assessment: Students will work individually to build off of their group work by verifying their answers algebraically, explaining their process, and justifying their answers to show understanding.
