Description

In this bundle you will receive a review for an assessment and 3 similar assessments. The differentiated assessments all target the same skills and concepts in algebraic expressions: understanding in simplifying, factoring, combining like terms, and vocabulary. Level 1 is the most challenging and level 3 is the least challenging, but all of the assessments have similar formats, with the challenge level within the problems being the key differentiation. Also, some questions require open-ended and some are presented as multiple choice, and this changes from level to level. When I used this as an end of unit assessment, providing choice of level assessment made students feel empowered, and also allowed for a built in retest if needed because there were similar tests at the ready. For example, if a student chose to take Level 1, but needed/wanted a retest, they just could take Level 2.
