Description

his slide deck is meant to be projected on whiteboards and have some number talks, math chats, or run it as a number string. The pattern involve adding or subtracting a number to each term to get the next term.

In these number sequences students need to determine the unknown term using the pattern provided. In these pattern sequences, the difference between consecutive terms is always the same.

For example, the sequence 3, 5, ____, 9, 11, 13 ... is a pattern because the difference between consecutive terms is always two and the unknown term is 7.
