Description
This listing features a one-page table where students write the function and location of eleven structures of the ear. This activity is most ideal for a sensory system unit in a human anatomy and physiology course.
This table focuses on the following structures of the ear: Semicircular canals, ossicles, peri & endolymph, cerumen (earwax), auricle (pinna), auditory (eustachian) tube, tympanic membrane, vestibule, external auditory canal, cochlea, and the vestibular & cochlear nerve.
Students may use a “Function Bank” at the bottom of the page to write out the functions.
In the last column of the table, students write “OE” for the outer ear, “ME” for the middle ear, and “IE” if the structure is located in the inner ear.
This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using Adobe Acrobat.
This listing includes a key with the answers in red font.
This resource complements my other publications about the sensory system.
