Description
This collection of books includes two color books and two number books. You can use all or one, depending on the current level of your students and what skill you are currently working on. The teacher books that are in color are intended to be used during small group or circle time activities. The black and white student books are intended to be used to reinforce the skill being taught and as a book that can be shared at home with their families. I hope you enjoy!
• A Rainbow of Colors! – Teacher book in color with predictable text, “Here are two yellow hearts.” Numbers are from 1-10 and include the following colors: brown, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, pink, gray, white and red.
• Colorful Hearts – Student book in black and white that uses the same predictable text from the teacher book, A Rainbow of Colors! The last page of the book allows the student to color the heart their favorite color.
• Let’s Count! – Teacher book in color that includes numbers 1-10 with predictable text, “Here are two hearts.” The hearts are all red so that the student can focus on the different numbers/number words. Numbers are written inside the hearts for easy counting practice and the number word is written in the sentence below.
• We Love Counting! – Student book that omits the number in the sentence. Students can use the numbers provided on the last page to fill-in the missing number. Teachers may also choose to omit the last page and have students write-in the missing number themselves.
