Description

Four different activities! In these worksheets of different styles of practice with similes students learn to recognize similes and practice writing their own. Students are given examples of similes and must identify what two things are being compared, and how they are being compared. In another activity students are given similes and must choose their correct explination. Students are also given sentence starters and must finish them with their own simile. Directions and examples are given at the top of each page. Answer keys are included.
