Teachers can use an Alpha-Box in multiple manners. A quick formative assessment to see what concepts students know on a given topic, record vocabulary for a particular unit of study, a sponge activity to get students jotting down thoughts, etc. And, all of it's done alphabetically!! This helps support ELL students and helps filter instruction for students needing additional support during quality Tier I instruction. Students can complete independently or as a group, during a lesson or at a center/work station!
