Description
This is a fun activity for the first day of school. Students use their prior knowledge combined with classroom resources to find math related words for each letter of the alphabet.
Teachers: There are thousands of possible answers to this activity, so I didn’t make an answer key. When I did it in my classroom, my students had planners that were supplied by the school. They had great math pages and my kids found words that I wasn’t expecting from 7th graders. Make sure you don’t use text books that have glossaries. This would make it too easy.
