Description

How fun is it to practice literacy and math skills in one activity?

These themed alphabet games will help your students work on letter recognition, learning letter sounds, or naming a word that begins with each letter.

What's Included:

13 page pdf file (11x8.5)

Six color board games (one uppercase and one lowercase)

Six black and white board games (one uppercase and one lowercase)

Directions:

  • Copy each game onto cardstock and laminate.
  • You can use different colored cardstock, or use regular printer paper.
  • Students will roll the dice and count how many spaces they need to move.
  • When they land on a letter, they say the name of the letter, the sound it makes, and depending on the level of your group, you can have them say a word that begins with that letter.

These would also be great to use in centers or in small groups!
