Alphabet interactive notebooks are the perfect low prep way to engage your students in practicing multiple skills at once! These interactive alphabet notebooks are Science of Reading aligned and easy to differentiate as you practice letter ID, letter formation, and letter sounds with alphabet sentences.
This download includes:
- 3 interactive notebook pages for each letter of the alphabet
Easy to differentiate! You can complete 1, 2, or all 3 pages included for each letter depending on where your students are at. That means that you can also cycle these alphabet interactive notebooks throughout the year for review.
Activities included in the interactive alphabet notebooks:
PAGE ONE: Letter ID
- Students will identify the letter, the mouth formation, and the key image
- Students will sort and glue letters by uppercase and lowercase
PAGE TWO: Letter Formation
- Students will search for the letter and color it each time the find it.
- Students will practice letter formation by tracing the letter with their finger, with a pencil, and practice writing the letter in the box.
PAGE THREE: Letter Sounds
- Students will read the alphabet decodable sentences by reading the letter sounds and picture - /a/, /a/, apple.
- Students will sort picture by beginning sound.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I have to use every page for every letter?
No! I've made it easy for you to pick and choose the pages and activities you want to complete for each letter. This makes differentiation easy for you!
Do I have to use the letters in alphabetical order?
No, you can use the alphabet interactive notebook pages in any order that you need.
Can I complete different activities at different times of the year?
Yes! You can easily cycle through these activities. An example would be doing page 1-2 of all letters and then coming back and doing page 3 as you review letters and sounds.
Does this resource include both short and long vowels?
No, i'm sorry, this resource only includes short vowel sounds.
