Description

These letter outline pages include a capital and lowercase letter on each page. They are great to use for letter recognition and also make great letter craft templates as well as good sorting mats for sorting letters by whether they are capital or lowercase versions of the letters. This packet contains each of the 26 letters of the alphabet.

These alphabet mats give students a fun way to practice sorting capital and lowercase letters. These mats also have many more uses, such as playdough mats, craft templates and activity mats.

Suggested Activities:

  • Look through magazines to find examples of each letter to glue on the page.
  • Find pictures of words that start with each letter to paste onto the page.
  • Simply color/decorate the letters.
  • Use as playdough mats.
  • Decorate letters with stickers or other craft materials.

These mats allow students to get creative while learning about capital and lowercase letters! They can practice fine motor skills as they decorate their mats. These letter pages offer a low prep activity for an art project or letter recognition center.

Some letters have several versions to account for different ways of forming each letter. If you would like a letter in a format that is not currently provided, please reach out so I can include it for you.

BONUS: This product is TPT for Easel Ready. A drag and drop activity has been created for students to sort letters by capital and lowercase letter.

This product is available in the following money saving bundle: Letter and Number Outlines! If you are interested in the capital and lowercase letter outlines on individual pages and number outlines as well, the bundle is for you!

We used the Alphabet Outlines in our Pre-K classroom for a variety of hands-on literacy and craft activities, and they were an incredibly versatile tool! The large, bold letters were perfect for decorating with dot markers, stickers, tissue paper, or even loose parts to reinforce letter recognition and fine motor skills.
