This assignment is a great introductory assignment for my Tissues unit. In this assignment students will be able to identify function terms in Anatomy and Physiology. Included in this product is a 2 slide power point presentation with a graphic organizer to help brainstorm function terms associated with Anatomy and Physiology. Students then fill in a graphic organizer chart to help identify which function terms go with which tissue or organ system. After organizing their thinking the student will be able to write a clear and organized paragraph defining the term function and giving examples of function terms and their associated tissues and body systems. This assignment is very flexible as it will work for any level student from English Learner - EL - to more advanced students. .
