Description

This activity is a fun, self-checking way for your students to practice the angle addition postulate while distance learning or working in math centers. There are 8 problems that students complete in google sheets that are scaffolded, beginning easier and getting more difficult. When students enter an answer they get immediate feedback! The answer field will turn green when the correct answer is inputted. Grading this activity is so quick and easy with the color coded system.

I've also created and linked a video tutorial for students on how to complete the activity in order to make this as easy as possible to implement!

This was a great practice activity to use for the Angle Addition Postulate. I loved that my students were able to check their answers and correct mistakes as they worked.

I'm slightly disappointed, when I first opened the document the video for student directions does not work (not longer available on YouTube). I did not see an email to reach out to the seller to try to resolve the issue. I deleted the directions for my students since the video did not work and typed my own. I used this activity with 3 of my classes and about 50% of my students could not see the images when they pulled it up on Google Classroom or were not able to type in the box (a copy was made for each student). It was a great activity for the students that it worked for.

I'm sorry that this happened to you but am so glad you informed me! There did turn out to be a recent issue with the video that I wasn't aware of. I've fixed it so please redownload from "My Purchases" so that you have the working version for future use. As far as the issues some of your students had with images and inputting text, I'm not sure why that occurred. It sounds like a tech issue as no one has ever reported that issue on any of my google classroom products and I just tested it on 2 different devices without any problems. Great for asynchronous learning because students can no right away if their answer is correct or not and look to find their own mistakes. Very well made resource! Thank you!
