Description

Angles Relationships (Vertical, Supplementary, Complementary, Linear Pair, Perpendicular, Angle Bisectors) Math Lib

In this activity, students will practice finding missing angle measures using common angle relationships. Students must have an understanding of vertical angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, linear pairs, perpendicular lines, and angle bisectors. Angles given as algebraic expressions along with verbal descriptions are also included. This activity was designed for a high school level geometry class

The answer to each station will give them a piece of a story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.). This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the "star" of the story.

EDIT ALL STORY ELEMENTS! All slides are given in an editable format so you are free to personalize the story for your students. PowerPoint is required to edit. Only story elements can be changed, not the actual problems.

Students enjoy getting up and moving around the room to complete each question. They especially enjoy when I change the names on the math lib to be teachers in our building.

I recently used this review resource to help my students prepare for an upcoming assessment, and it exceeded my expectations. The material was well-organized, aligned perfectly with the curriculum, and offered a good mix of practice problems for all levels of learner. My students appreciated the clear explanations and step-by-step solutions, and I noticed a boost in their confidence during our in-class review sessions. It saved me valuable prep time while still allowing me to tailor the material to my students’ needs. Highly recommended for any math teacher looking for a solid, ready-to-use review tool!
