The invertebrates assessments file includes three simple assessments that challenge students to recognize invertebrates and the classification groups they are found in. The third quiz was originally a google slides drag and drop quiz used in a google classroom format. It can also be helpful as a printable.

The vertebrates assessments file includes a four page assessment addressing concepts, animal groups, and terminology involved in the study of animals with backbones. Questions are in constructed response, multiple choice, matching, and Venn diagram formats.

A three page secondary, simplified version is also included. This alternate version has no constructed response items, a simplified terminology section, and less choices in the multiple choice section. Answer keys are included with both assessments.
