Animal habitat project to go along with animal or life cycle research. This is great for an end of unit project. Students can use a shoe box to create a habitat for an animal. This is great since it can be an in-class project or a take home project. There is directions attached as well as a rubric to help students to know what is expected from them. This document also includes a send home letter to parents to acknowledge and sign for the project.

Second grade does a habitat project each year. This is helpful during that unit.

Engaging and Educational Habitat Project! This Animal Habitat Project was a fantastic way to get my students excited about science and the environment! The project guides students to research different habitats and animals, encouraging critical thinking and creativity. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the project can be adapted for different grade levels and abilities. Plus, the finished products make for a beautiful and informative classroom display. Highly recommend for any teacher looking to bring hands-on learning and science research into their classroom!

My families loved working on this project with their kids. The directions were clear and specific, easy to follow. A suggestion would be to provide a translated version for Spanish speaking families. Thanks so much!
