This unit is designed to practice informative writing while learning about animals and their habitats. Common Core aligned for grades 1-3.

There are 7 habitats covered (wetlands, rainforest, ocean, forest, grassland, arctic, & desert) with a focus on 5 different animals for each habitat. There are mini-posters, graphic organizers, and writing paper for all 35 animals.
