Description
*Print Version*
Animals In Winter cards offer a very simple exercise in classifying familiar animals into three basic winter adaptation groupings; migrate, hibernate or adapt. There are six examples of each adaptation so that the children do not become too overwhelmed.
Even the youngest children enjoy joining in conversation or just listening and attending when the topic is animals.
To extend the experience and to give little hands something fun to do, I have included three versions of writing; one "control" page, one guided writing and one blank for independent writing.
Thanks so much for checking out our material and enjoy winter with your children!
