The purpose of this bulletin board is to teach students new vocabulary with the use of pictures and sorting strategies. This is an interactive board using pictures of animals and locations to allow students to identify animals and sort them into their proper locale. Students see the picture of the animal, identify the animal and then sort the picture into the proper locale category (Zoo, Circus, Home, Farm). Teacher would set time aside to model the procedure of the interactive board. For example, a picture of an elephant is put on the board either in the zoo or the circus. This gives students a chance to see the dual locales of animals.

This Print Packet gives you all the pictures to add to the over all Bulletin Board. Cutting and pasting might be required on your part.
