Description

Have students take a reading diagnostic at the end of class designed for the math school year (incorporates reading questions as they relate to math class and using the annotation key with a math word problem, along with follow up questions.)

-Students will use an annotation key to actively read by interpreting, analyzing and making an inference about a math word problem.

-The students will use the annotations to reflect on their prior knowledge and eventually they will use the annotations to help solve the problem.
