Description
Apollo 13 Viewing Guide and Questions is a print-and-go film activity designed to keep students engaged while watching Apollo 13. This resource includes open-ended viewing questions, a true/false question set, and complete teacher answer keys, making it easy to use for a movie day, end-of-year activity, sub plan, or U.S. History enrichment lesson.
Students will follow the major events of the Apollo 13 mission, including Jim Lovell’s leadership, Ken Mattingly’s removal from the crew, the oxygen tank explosion, Mission Control’s problem-solving, the carbon dioxide filter crisis, and the dangerous reentry back to Earth. The questions help students focus on teamwork, leadership, crisis decision-making, and the importance of creative problem-solving under pressure.
This resource includes both deeper written-response questions and a simpler true/false option, giving teachers flexibility based on class needs, time, and student level. Answer keys are included for both versions, so the activity is ready to print and use right away.
