Format:

I try to color code as much as possible to help student understand different aspects of the process. This has helped my students tremendously when they have been absent and need to get the notes before they come in with questions. In the worked-out portions of the notes:

• Key phrases in the given problem are highlighted the same color as the calculus notation they represent.
• Side work is done in a separate space.
• Using proportions with similar cones to reduce the number of
  variables in the volume formula.
• Solving for an unknown value using the Pythagorean Theorem in right
  triangle problems.
