Description

Learn, practice, or review colors with this fun apple-themed resource! This is a great fit for preschool and pre-k. Hang the color cards around the room for students to find or place the cards in a basket or sensory bin. As they find the cards, students can color a heart to match or trace/write the color word. My students love learning their color words and that often leads to a bigger interest in learning sight words and word families. This activity can easily be adapted to use during small group time. Print two sets of the apple color cards and make a matching game for younger students.

⭐Here is what is included⭐

-10 color cards

-3 different recording sheets

-Color matching stack and count mat

-Color worksheet with picture sentences

I always start the year for 4 and 5 years old with a color unit. This helps me see a little of where they are. This was a perfect activity for them. Thank you!

My pre-k and toddler enjoyed this activity. I loved the three recording sheet options (color, trace words, and free writing). The youngest colored and my oldest used all three - extending the learning and practicing reading/writing color words.
