Students will love this fun Apple Themed Math Task with Apple Jacks cereal!

Place Value

Ordering Numbers

Word Problem; students write their own for a bonus on the back

Even and Odd

Materials Needed:

1.Several boxes of Apple Jacks

2.Scooper

3.Napkins, paper towels, or bowls for students

4.Data sheet (in this purchase)

5.Crayons

Directions:

1.Use the scooper to collect a bunch of Apple Jacks cereal pieces.

2.Take the pieces to your work station and count them.

3.Then complete the data sheet activities.

Extension Activities:

•Create a class pictograph

•Ordering numbers•Compare numbers >, =, =

•Create a whole class number line

•Sort into even and odd
