Description

This apple name and scissor craft activity is perfect to do with your preschoolers in the fall or during your apple theme to help them with fine motor skills and name recognition.

To add your students' names to the apples you will need to download the free version of Adobe Reader. There is also a link in the file to the free reader. Then just type the letters into the grey boxes. You can also write the students' names or have them add a letter to each space.

Print the apple for each student on fun red or green colored paper. Cut out the apple. Have your students cut on the dotted lines and then glue the pieces to make their names onto a contrasting color.

There are 11 different apple templates.

A blank apple is included if want to give your child a different scissor challenge. You can draw zig-zag lines, curvy lines, or make puzzle pieces. You can also use the blank apple if you have a child with more than 11 letters in their name.

Also included are two number-order activities, 1-5 and 1-10. Print the apples on red paper and cut them out. Have your students cut on the lines and then glue them back in the correct order. Be sure to follow for more preschool activities!

Used with fall themed unit to practice sequencing letters of our name. The letters do get pretty small for students with larger names but great resource.
